The Cambridge tests

Cambridge examinations are recognised and used by schools, universities and employers in the private and public sectors throughout the world.

We prepare children for the following Cambridge tests according to age, level and need:

• A2 This diploma indicates that the candidate is able to use simple written and spoken English. It is the ideal exam to confirm that a student is leaving secondary school at A2 level.
• B1 A student who obtains this diploma is able to understand and communicate in everyday English, both orally and in writing. This exam enables students to prove that they have reached B1 level, the level expected at the end of Seconde générale and required for entry to a number of selective post-bac courses.
• B2 Level B2 is the level expected of all students leaving lycée. This exam is a reference passport for Parcoursup post-bac admissions. In higher education, B2 First is recognised to validate the level of English required to obtain an engineering degree.
• C1 Advanced This diploma is ideal for higher education and employment, both in France and abroad. The diploma is recognised by 100% of universities in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, as well as by many universities and grandes écoles in France and abroad for admission on qualification (Ecole polytechnique, ESCP Europe, HEC, ESSEC, EDHEC, etc.).
• C2 Proficiency ou IELTS This is the highest level of certification. This diploma proves that the candidate has an excellent command of the English language. Like the C1 Advanced, it is recognised by 100% of universities in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, as well as by many universities and grandes écoles in France and abroad.
